The most convient way of getting around on St Croix is via rental car. However, understand that you must drive on the opisite side of the road, which only takes a few minutes to get used to. Also always take your belongings as locals can easily identify rental vehichles and have no problem breaking into them.

And who knows, you may see any number of famous athletes which there seem to many of, including tim Duncan of the San Antonio Spurs.
