Welcome to the US Virgin Islands and all it has to offer. I have put together some information about the places you may have only had dreams of. St Thomas – The city of Charlotte Amalie, on St Thomas is the capital of the US Virgin Islands. It is also the most visited port and has duty free shopping; Vendors Plaza is a popular open air market with new and beautiful blue tents for vendors. Mahogany Run Golf Course is one of the Caribbean’s most challenging golf courses. It has entertained the likes of President Bill Clinton, President Barrack Obama and Tiger Woods. The course is 20 minutes from the cruise ship docks and airport.

Shopping on St. Thomas could not’t be easier with the Tutu Park Mall  as one of the most modern and accessible shopping malls on St. Thomas. With over 50 unique and big box shops including Plaza Extra Supermarket and the US Postal Service, as well as a laundry, and a food court.
 
St Thomas is also known for its world class yachting and sport fishing. Many sport fishing records have been broken on the US Virgin Islands, ranging from Blue Marlin and Wahoo. The North Drop is one of the most popular sites for this exciting sport. Spend your day in a fighting chair with the wind in your face aboard any one of the numerous sport fishing charters here.

My lovely wife Jackie Marin has been in quite a few competitions throughout the year. The best time is June through October.

Transportation includes the Ferry, Taxis and buses and of course airlines. There are no issues with transportation, as there are non-stop flights from New York, Philadelphia, Charlotte, Jacksonville, and Miami in the states. There are lots of American Airlines flights and many American flights from Puerto Rico. They often offer good rates too. There are water taxis between St. Thomas and St. John with limited access to St. Croix. We do have small airlines going from St. Thomas to St. Croix and Puerto Rico everyday. They also offer reasonable rates. One of the local airlines is a seaplane company taking off and landing on the water. It takes about 30 minutes to St. Croix and Puerto Rico. St John is one of the smaller islands packed with many outdoor activities. there are plenty of vacation rentals, villas, and condos each with amazing views! More information about St John Island
